Feline like a shopping spree?? Even our furry friends appreciate Amazon! I don’t know about your cats, but mine have to inspect every package or bag that comes into the house, forever hopeful it’s for them. If your kitty needs a pick-me-up, check out some of my cats’ favorite Amazon finds!
First, let me introduce you to Oliver, Kahmo Precious, and Narnie:
Let’s start off with toys! My boys are getting up there in years and so they play less often. It takes something special to hold their attention. These two brands of catnip toys are completely stuffed with dried catnip – none of that extra fluffy nonsense! That makes them extra strong. The carrot even has feathers on it for extra fun!
Next up, one of my cats’ favorite things…treats! Narnie loves shrimp, so two of these are that flavor. He especially adores the PureBites ones – actual dried shrimp!! Although I’ve never found a treat he turns down! The Party Mix comes in a great canister. This not only keeps treats fresh, but makes that delightful cat treat maraca sound when shaken that cats love!
Here we have the wonderful, furniture-saving cardboard scratcher. Oliver loves to scratch! Thankfully, he also loves these cardboard scratchers. The nice thing about this particular one is that you can flip it over and have a fresh side once it gets worn down. Plus, the price is right!
Now here is a product I have found to be essential. My cats are all from the same litter, and unfortunately all have hereditary heart problems. That means it is important for me to create an environment where they feel calm and safe. In addition, Kahmo Precious would mark inappropriately when he felt stressed due to change etc. Feliway diffusers have worked wonders for them and my peace of mind. The marking has stopped and they even seem to be getting along better. Well worth the investment.
Following that, this product is an affordable and effective stain and odor remover. Marking outside of the box creates a not so happy environment for both cat and owner. This spray is an enzyme cleaner that helps prevent repeat marking. It smells heavenly too!
One last mention – Clenz A Dent products rock!! You can use these for cats and dogs. Due to Oliver’s heart condition being especially poor, he cannot undergo any sort of anesthesia without a high risk to his life. Unfortunately this means he can’t get regular teeth cleanings/extractions. I actually found out they had heart problems when I took him in for dental issues. The following products have helped keep his teeth and gums healthier. You can use them both with moist food, or use the liquid as a mouth rinse or water additive.
