October is an amazing month for the art community! So many Halloween themed prompts, all month long. This year, I chose to casually participate in Mab’s Drawlloween Club on Instagram.
By casually, I mean only doing the prompts that interested me the most. I knew I wouldn’t be able to commit to the entire month (one every single day), but I admire my fellow artists who were able to!
To start, I would read the title of each prompt and dive into it. I didn’t check the hashtag first to see everyone else’s work because I really wanted my work to be my own. Below are the watercolors I’d created by the end of the month. Enjoy!
In Conclusion, I had an absolute blast and I recommend that artists of all skill levels join in! It’s a really positive, supportive community. I feel that I’ve grown as an artist by pushing my limits and going outside of my box.
